2025 Year in Review

2025 was a busy year for our team, with work across a range of projects. Looking back, it’s a good reminder of what can be done when everyone works together and puts in the effort day in and day out.

A Long Time Coming

One of the bigger milestones for us in 2025 was moving into our new office space. We had been working out of an old barn that was converted into an office years ago, and while it got us a long way, we had outgrown it. As the company grew, so did our need for space.

We’ll always stay true to being a family-run business, but this move gives us the room to support our team and keep growing the right way.

A Year of Steady Work

2025 was our busiest year to date. We were fortunate to stay busy across a range of projects, especially within the energy sector, while continuing our work along the highway corridor from Surrey to Princeton.

Our crews put in a lot of hard work this year, often working through tough winter conditions to keep projects moving. Their effort and commitment are what keep things running day in and day out.

Stepping Up When Needed

This year also brought its share of challenges, particularly with the floods. Our team was involved in flood mitigation work, helping where we could during a difficult time.

Along with that, we responded to a number of emergency call-outs throughout the year. These situations aren’t always easy or predictable, but our crews showed up and got the job done safely.

A Team Effort Recognized

We were honoured to receive a Contractor Safety Award for Best Major Projects Support from Trans Mountain this year. This recognition reflects the effort of our entire team – from the crews in the field to those supporting behind the scenes in the office. It takes consistent attention to safety at every level, and this award is a result of that shared commitment.

Taking Time as a Team

Along with the work, we made time throughout the year to get everyone together. We hosted our annual golf tournament, along with our Christmas dinner and kids party, and a few company BBQs along the way.

These events are a chance to step away from the job sites and spend time with the people behind the work. It’s something we value as a company and an important part of staying connected as a team.

We also recognized a number of milestones across the team. In 2025, 3 employees reached 5 years, 7 reached 10 years, and 2 reached 25 years with us. Derek Bryce and Ken MacAndrew have both been part of the company for 25 years and have helped shape where we are today.

Looking Ahead

We’re grateful for the work, the people we work with, and the team we have. 2025 was a big year for us, and we’re looking forward to continuing to build on that in 2026.

Thank you to everyone who was part of it.
