Project Overview

This project focused on critical upgrades to a river outfall system, requiring temporary access and complex in-stream work to support the installation of new infrastructure.

Our team first constructed temporary access across the river side channel. From there, a temporary causeway was built into the river’s main channel to facilitate equipment and material access.

Work included the removal of the existing outfall pipe and diffuser, which were extracted back to shore. A temporary effluent diversion was put in place to maintain operations during construction. The new outfall pipe was then fused and installed, utilizing the existing diffuser.

To ensure long-term performance and protection, the new installation was armored with bedding and riprap. Once all work was complete, the temporary access road was fully removed, restoring the site to its original condition.
