Coquihalla Highway 5 Improvements – Box Canyon

Project Overview

We widened and realigned a 3 km section of Highway 5 - Coquihalla Highway. This realignment allowed for the placement of a 71-stall chain-up and chain-off facility within the geometric constraints of the project site.

Additionally, we extended the third lane southbound exiting the Great Bear snow shed. The total scope of work for this project included land clearing, earthworks and rock blasting, storm drainage upgrades and installation, asphalt paving, and electrical work for street lighting.
