Project Overview

Jakes Construction teamed up with ISL Engineering and Land Services in 2019 to design and construct various roadworks improvement projects throughout the city of Chilliwack.

The project involved converting a four-way intersection into a roundabout while maintaining traffic flow through the area, constructing a new section of road, widening an existing road, and urban revitalization of the Five Corners intersection in the city’s downtown core.

The design-build package also included various sidewalk and street lighting improvement projects at several different locations throughout the city to provide safe pedestrian connectivity and access to local schools nearby.
