Morris Valley Pedestrian Tunnel

Project Overview

To improve pedestrian connectivity and safety along Morris Valley Road in Agassiz, our team worked closely with the Chehalis First Nation and the Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure (MoTI) to deliver a new pedestrian tunnel while maintaining traffic flow and minimizing disruption.

The scope included site clearing, stripping, ditching, and construction of a temporary road detour to maintain traffic flow during installation. Our team installed a box culvert tunnel and coordinated associated utilities, including Telus duct encasement.

Additional work included roadworks and paving, fencing installation, and final landscaping and planting to restore the area upon completion.
